Welcome to Mindful Moments Therapies Disordered Eating Support Group, a safe and confidential online space where individuals aged 18 and over can explore their relationship with food, eating behaviours, and body image. Whether you're currently receiving professional support or navigating these challenges on your own, monthly sessions offer peer-led guidance in a non-judgemental environment.
Facilitated by Phiona, the group is grounded in empathy, respect, and lived experience. It is not a replacement for clinical therapy, but a space for shared understanding, emotional support, and community connection. This is a non-clinical, peer support group designed to complement ongoing professional care.
During each monthly session, you can expect:
A welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
Group discussions and reflective exercises
A chance to listen, share, or simply observe – there is no pressure to speak
Support from others who understand the challenges of disordered eating
Sessions focus on emotional wellbeing, mutual respect, and building positive relationships with food and body image. With the aim to to bring connection, reduce isolation, and provide ongoing support through shared experience.
Who Can Join?
This online support group is open to:
Adults aged 18+ of all genders and backgrounds
Individuals struggling with disordered eating, with or without a formal diagnosis
Those receiving treatment, waiting for treatment, or exploring support options
Anyone looking for a safe space to connect and reflect with others
No previous experience with support groups is necessary. If you're looking for support for disordered eating, our monthly online group offers a caring and understanding community.
Monthly sessions, guided by Phiona, offering connection, comfort, and community in a confidential and non-clinical setting.
The support group is held on the 1st Wednesday of the month online, for an hour 7pm - 8pm at £7.50 per person.
Places are limited to provide a safe and connected space. The sessions are ad hoc and you are able to book in when you need the support.
