Breathwork Growth Development Group

Phiona is passionate about sharing therapy tools to groups and organisations, helping to bring understanding and awareness as to how therapy can support wellbeing and mindfulness.

Group Work with Phiona

At Mindful Moments Therapies, Phiona offers a compassionate and skillful space for individuals and professionals to explore, heal, and grow, both in person and online, in a group setting. With a deep understanding of the body-mind connection and a passion for breath-led therapeutic approaches, Phiona facilitates a range of group experiences designed to support personal transformation and professional development. Phiona leads specialist therapeutic groups that create safe, non-judgmental spaces for individuals navigating key life challenges:

Phiona also facilitates supportive and inclusive group spaces that respond to the often complex emotional needs around grief and neurodiversity. These groups are shaped by a trauma-informed, embodied, and breath-led approach that encourages curiosity, connection, and gentle self-exploration.

Parent-Child Estrangement Support Group

Estrangement between a parent and child, whether initiated by the parent, the adult child, or mutually, can be a deeply painful and often hidden experience. It brings a complex mix of grief, guilt, confusion, and sometimes relief. Phiona offers a dedicated support group that acknowledges the emotional weight and nuance of estrangement without judgement or assumptions.

Phiona runs two groups:

Parents who are estranged from their adult children

Adult children who have chosen or experienced estrangement from a parent

Each group supports individuals navigating partial or unclear disconnection within their family dynamic. Through a trauma-informed, breath-led, and compassion-focused approach, this group provides: A safe space to speak openly about a stigmatized and often isolating experience. Breath and somatic practices to help regulate difficult emotions and nervous system responses. Reflection and meaning-making to support clarity, boundaries, and healing. Gentle connection with others who understand the silent weight of family separation

Phiona holds this group with care and neutrality, ensuring that all stories are respected, whether you seek reconciliation, peaceful distance, or simply understanding. There is no “right way” to navigate estrangement, only your way.

Both groups are offered in person and online.

Menopause Support Group
Tailored for those experiencing the emotional and physical changes of menopause, this group focuses on self-awareness, shared experiences, and restorative practices. Phiona combines breath-led therapy, gentle movement, and guided reflection to support balance and wellbeing during this significant life transition.

A Compassionate Space for Change, Connection, and Renewal. Menopause is far more than a biological transition, it can be a profound emotional, psychological, and spiritual threshold. It often brings shifts in identity, relationships, energy levels, and emotional regulation. Phiona’s Menopause Support Group offers a deeply supportive space to explore this complex life stage in the company of others who truly understand.

This group welcomes individuals at any stage of menopause: perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause. Whether you are struggling with symptoms, feeling emotionally adrift, or simply looking for a space to reflect and be seen, this group offers an embodied and empowering experience.

In this group, you’ll be invited to: Explore your changing experience with honesty and support, free from the shame or invisibility that often surrounds menopause. Work with your breath and body to soothe overwhelm, support hormonal shifts, and reconnect to your own vitality. Learn tools for emotional regulation including somatic practices, nervous system awareness, and self-compassion techniques. Reflect on themes such as loss, renewal, self-worth, and boundaries, guided by Phiona’s therapeutic approach. Connect with others to reduce the isolation that can come with this stage, and rediscover strength through shared experience

Small, confidential group to allow for intimacy and safety. A trauma-aware, neuroinclusive approach—sensitive to overwhelm, sensory needs, and emotional fatigue. Suitable for those who are new to therapeutic groups, as well as those experienced in breathwork or other wellbeing practices. Online and in-person options available. This is not a space to fix or bypass the challenges of menopause—but to meet them, together, with curiosity, kindness, and courage.

If you’re feeling lost, exhausted, or simply in need of being held in community during this time of change, you are not alone—and you are warmly welcome here.

Disordered Eating Support Group

Reconnecting to Body, Breath, and Self with Compassion

Disordered eating is rarely just about food, it is often a reflection of deeper emotional pain, unmet needs, and the body’s attempt to cope with overwhelming thoughts, feelings, or past experiences. Whether you are living with binge eating, restriction, emotional eating, or patterns that feel distressing or out of your control, you are not alone.

Phiona’s Disordered Eating Support Group offers a gentle, non-clinical, and trauma-aware space to explore your relationship with food, your body, and yourself in a safe and supported way. This group is not based in shame, diagnosis, or willpower, but in understanding, self-compassion, and embodied awareness.

In this group, you’ll be supported to: Gently explore the emotional roots of disordered eating, including anxiety, shame, trauma, and control. Develop a more compassionate connection with your body, through breath-led practices and body-based awareness. Learn to regulate your nervous system and build internal safety, using breathwork, grounding tools, and mindfulness. Recognise and release harmful patterns, not through force, but through curiosity, kindness, and choice. Experience connection and validation in a supportive group of others who understand the complexity of food-related struggles

Who this group is for: Adults of any gender who experience disordered eating or a difficult relationship with food or body image. Those who may not meet criteria for an eating disorder but feel stuck in painful or confusing eating patterns. Individuals seeking a holistic, breath- and body-centred approach rather than a purely cognitive or behavioural model. Anyone in recovery, or curious about recovery, looking for gentle community support alongside other practices or therapy

Phiona holds this space with deep sensitivity to trauma histories, neurodivergence, and the layers of social pressure many people carry around food and body image. You will never be asked to share more than feels safe, and there is no pressure to change, just the invitation to be with what is, in a new way.

Sessions are available online or in person, with flexible attendance options.
